Craig Robinson hat sich die Mühe gemacht und versucht eine Übersicht über die jeweiligen Beiträge von Barrett, Waters, Gilmour, Wright und Mason zu den offiziellen Studioalben von Pink Floyd zu erstellen. Er schreibt dazu:
"While it is more or less impossible to know exactly how much of co-written songs different band members wrote, I took it upon myself to split things evenly. For example, "A Pillow of Winds" is credited to Waters and Gilmour. Each is credited with half of that song in the chart. When the writer of lyrics is specified, they account for half of the song. For example, the lyrics of 'Time' were written by Waters, and the music by all four members, thus Waters gets 50% for the lyrics, and 12,5% for his share of the music. It's not a perfect way to do this, but it does give a quick overview of who contributed and how much to each of Pink Floyd's long players. With regard to Ummagunsma, I've ignored the live album, and split the studio album equally between all members, recognising the intent of the project that each member had half a side of vinyl for himself."
Es handelt sich also um eine ungefähre Bewertung der Beiträge mit einem Gleichgewicht bei der Bewertung von Musik und Text und ohne quasi wissenschaftliche Betrachtung von z. B. "der Länge der Songs" oder Ähnlichem.
Die Darstellung vermittelt so zumindest einen kleinen Eindruck über die schöpferischen Anteile auch wenn sie alles andere als "perfekt" ist - das ist, wie er selbst zu bedenken gibt - auch kaum möglich. Ganz interessant, wie ich finde und deshalb poste ich das hier mal.
Bei "The Wall" hat er den Beitrag von Bob Ezrin (The Trial) farblich Richard Wright zugeordnet - wohl ein kleiner redaktioneller Fehler.
