Möglicherweise werden in den nächsten Monaten einige interessante Artikel anlässlich des 30. Geburtstages von 'The Wall' in der Presse erscheinen. Wer möchte kann in diesem Thread die Forumsleser darauf aufmerksam machen.
Ich fang mal an:
In der aktuellen Ausgabe der amerikanischen Zeitschrift "Guitar World" (Ausgabe 10/2009) ist ein interessanter Artikel zum Thema erschienen.
Übrigens: Wer nicht in der Großstadt lebt und so den gut sortierten internationalen Bahnhofsbuchhandel "um die Ecke" hat, kann auf Dienstleister wie zum Beispiel "morgenheit" zurückgreifen. Das ist ein Onlineportal für für aktuelle nationale und internationale Zeitschriften verschiedenster Interessen und die senden einem fast alles per Post zu - oft ohne Versandkosten und sehr schnell.

Pink Floyd The Wall" - 30th anniversary interview

To help celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release, the well-respected interviewer Redbeard makes Pink Floyd The Wall the subject of a two-part, two-hour special airing the weeks of November 16th, 2009, and November 23rd, 2009 on his "In The Studio" show.
The show will feature interviews with Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason, all looking back at the album, and so shouldn't be missed!
In its 21st year, "In The Studio" is a weekly hour-long "rockumentary" syndicated each week to over 85 US cities, and listenable online worldwide. More details, including airing times, can be found at InTheStudio.net. Click on the tab at the top of the homepage marked "On the Radio" for the station in your area; there's a link to each station's website for exact day, time, and radio frequency. If there's not a station in your area, and you are unable to tune in online, Redbeard normally posts the entire interview on his website after it has aired. Eclipsed hol ich mir eh immer und die Mojo...wenn ich die nicht im Bahnhofsbuchandel kriege, muss ich halt wieder ne Mail oder SMS nach London schicken, da wollte jemand evtl. eh im Dezember nach D. kommen.

@ Double Bubble: Im Bahnhofsbuchhandel ist es i.d.R. billiger als 29 Dollar (mit Porto) und wenn es besagte Freundin besorgt, gibt sie sich mit nem Bier oder Kaffee zufrieden.

30 Jahre nach Erscheinen des legendären Albums THE WALL von Pink Floyd ist es an der Zeit, den dazugehörigen Kultfilm mit Bob Geldof noch einmal ins Kino zu bringen.
Radio RSG präsentiert den Musikfilm in zwei CinemaxX-Sondervorstellungen in bester digitaler Video- und Audioqualität - für wahre Genießer!

Alan Parkers kongenial-fantasievolle Umsetzung von Pink Floyds Megaseller-Konzeptwerk "The Wall" kam 1982 in die Kinos und zählt zu den cineastischen Glanzlichtern jenes Jahrzehnts. Die Hauptrolle in Floyd-Chef Roger Waters semi-autobiografischer Geschichte von den Psychosen und Phobien des sich selbst entfremdeten Rockstars Pink spielt der damalige Boomtown-Rats-Frontmann und spätere Band Aid-For-Africa-Initiator Sir Bob Geldorf.
