Und wie kommen dann Songs wie Take it Back auf das Album...siehste...weil das gut ins Ohr geht..
Aber für Pink Floyd Maßstäbe ja wohl nicht so dolle ist..da sind mir ja alle Clips lieber.

Un mal was Positives zu schreiben, ganz ohne Ironie(!): Ich hab mich mittlerweile so an das Cover gewöhnt, dass es gedanklich schon zur Pink Floyd - Serie gehört. Irgendwie scheint es doch zu passen.
Was die Auswahl betrifft: ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich mich schon gefragt habe, warum man sowas wie "Take it Back" veröffentlichen musste. Mehr Marooned oder Cluster one fände ich sehr willkommen.

Vllt weil Polly dafür schon monatelang am herausragenden Text geschrieben und gearbeitet hatte?
Oder vllt auch weil der böse Onkel Ezrin (den Waters ja vorher schon durchschaut hatte  ) den Song bereits als Single-Auskopplung geplant hatte! 
[edit] Hmm, noch ein Gedanke: hätte man damals auf Take It Back verzichtet, dann hätten wir den Titel jetzt wohl auf Endless River - was meine grundsätzliche Theorie zum Thema eher unterstützt!

Man kann sich an so vieles gewöhnen!
Aber mal von meinen ganzen "negativen Bemerkungen" abgesehen (ich würde vllt eher von einer "gedämpften statt euphorischen Erwartungshaltung" sprechen), freue auch ich mich auf das Album!
So, für heute hab ich hier wohl genug gespammt!

Und noch eine Anmerkung: Wer glaubt, dass die Kritik an der Qualität der Soundschnipsel "typisch deutsch" ist, dem sei geraten sich mal in anderen Foren weltweit umzusehen! Da wird mindestens so heftig darüber diskutiert wie hier!

Louder Than Words To Be Issued As A Single? The story we ran about the Spanish Pink Floyd web site animalspinkfloydmagazine has been withdrawn as we have been OFFICIALLY advised that it's simply not true. For those who may have missed it, it was claimed by animalspinkfloydmagazine on the AFG Forum that they were invited to Madrid on 3 October to listen to the exclusive world premiere of 'The Endless River'. They also told forum members that a song from 'The Endless River', namely 'Louder Than Words' (The only song on the album that has lyrics) was to be issued as a single on 12 October. This story has been OFFICIALLY DENIED.
