Übrigens äußert sich ja auch David und Nick bezüglich der (offensichtlich nicht zu vermeidenden) Frage nach einer Zusammenarbeit mit Roger Waters im Interview mit der BBC.

Hier mal mein Transcript des entsprechenden Abschnitts. Ich finde, Gilmour schätzt das schon alles ganz richtig ein...

Was that ever any question of Roger contributing anything to this album project at all?
David Gilmour: No. No.... no...
Matt Everitt: (laughs)
David Gilmour: Roger left in 85 you know. We’ve done one or two things together. We getting on pretty reasonably well you know. We did the ‘Live 8’ thing in 2005 – I think it was? And that was all fine. But that, that moment, of doing rehearsals with Roger, …ehm. You know a bit like going in Britannia Row in 93 and playing together and that immediately falling back into the old ways and the good stuff. With Roger the rehearsals we immediately fell back into the ways that made you understand why we could no longer really do stuff together.
Nick Mason: You know Roger is been busy working on - I mean, been touring ‘The Wall’ for almost 3 years now and I think he’s, well I know he is very happy doing that. The show is astonishing, or its fantastic. So I think, to some extend, it works reasonably well for us to get on with this and he can get on with that.
David Gilmour: It’s, its sad, obviously. For other people probably much more sad than me, but I’m - it just wouldn’t work. I mean, however much I would like it to do that. And there are moments where I think, you know, his great abilities combined with mine do, you know, … do work quite well, but that just wouldn’t work.

ist ja nicht wichtig, aber ich musste das mal spontan loswerden weil ich, als ich den Fred angeklickt hab die 1000 las. Und der Post war um 18.00h von dir

......  wieso raushalten ??     was meinst du ?

ist halt ein Thema das (berechtigterweise) sehr lebhafte Züge hat, und für ein
großes Wachstum an Beiträgen sorgt....
