Written by Phil Taylor - David’s personal guitar technician and the band’s chief backline tech since 1974 - the only person to know Pink Floyd’s equipment better than the band themselves. David’s Black Strat featured on Pink Floyd tours and iconic albums including Meddle, Atom Heart Mother, Obscured By Clouds, The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. It was also used on David’s solo projects: David Gilmour, About Face and On An Island. It can be seen in the film Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, at the 2005 Live 8 Pink Floyd reunion and on David’s 2007 Remember That Night." Die erste Auflage ist noch bis zum 31.07.2008 als autorensigniert zu erhalten über o.a. Link (und PayPal/KK). Diese Auflage ist softback und kostet knapp 16 € +PP. Die kommende 2. Auflage wird hardcover sein und soll knapp über 20 € kosten (ohne Signatur von Phil Taylor). Rezension folgt, wenn mein Exemplar mich erreicht hat, und ich es gelesen habe.

	@ KatzenHai Der erste Eindruck: hochwertig. Ansprechendes Design, durchgehend übersichtlich, mehr Bilder als Text, aber eindeutig ganz viel Insiderwissen. Die Technikleute werden vermutlich auch ganz viel mehr verstehen als ich, aber es ist interessant und spannend. Auch ganz viele Bilder von Auftritten aus diversen Zeiten, teilweise wohl von Taylor (ggf. bisher unveröffentlicht) selbst, aber immer ansehnlich. Immerhin kann ich jetzt n paar Bezeichnungen aus dem Gitarrenthread nachvollziehen, z.B. "Bridge" oder "Humbucker"... Jedenfalls ein alleine aus einem Grund ungewöhnliches Werk: Es geht nicht um Pink Floyd oder David G., nein, es geht um eine seiner Gitarren.   ___________________________________________ The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. 	Im Booklet zum Reissue-Album von Pearl Jam's TEN steht laut Pulse & Spirit: „Dave GILMOUR owns the very first Fender Strat. I don’t think I’d want that responsability“. Dave Gilmour besitzt die allererste Fender Strat. Ich glaube nicht, dass ich diese Verantwortung haben wollte. ___________________________________________ The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

	@ KatzenHai das ist aber ein missverständnis! der dicke hat zwar ne strat mit der serialnummer 0001, aber das ist nicht die erste fender-strat: www.gilmourish.com/?page_i ... edit: und buchstabieren könnense auch nich! _______________________________________________ Käse - Die Milch wagt den ersten Schritt in die Unsterblichkeit.
