The prog-rockers raised £1,000 for Schoolhouse Education in London at an Oxfam gig at Wembley Empire Pool in 1972. The school, which has two sites in the south of the capital, was set up for truants, bullied children and other disaffected teens. It Lewisham site will now shut its doors after failing to attract enough students and losing its funding. The Times Educational Supplement reports that its Greenwich site will remain open. Headteacher Lynda Smith told the News Of The World that the school "would not exist if it wasn't for Pink Floyd". She added that the band's "most famous song" 'Another Brick In The Wall' mentions the "sort of teenagers we are trying to help". The track features the lines "We don't need no education" and hey, teacher, leave them kids alone". "Now we are looking for another miracle if the school is to stay in existence," Smyth commented. Earlier this month, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour reunited on stage in London for the first time since 2005. ________________________________________________________________________ Vielleicht ein Grund für eine Reunion - nur 1 Song ... ___________________________________________ The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. 	@ High Hopes: Damals war das noch viel Geld. Ich hoffe nur, es ist keine Schule für Pink Floyd Tribute Bands ******************************************************** Manchmal ist das Leben voller Überraschungen, und zuweilen erweisen sich die Dinge, an die man glaubt, als Lug und Trug.
