David spielt für Polly ein Liebeslied zum Geburtstag      [6874]

Pink Floyd star David Gilmour marked his wife's 50th birthday by serenading her with a love song at a party with family and friends.

The romantic rocker marked author Polly Samson's big day by throwing the celebration at the 20th Century Theatre in Notting Hill, London on Friday (27Apr12) and debuting a new track, entitled Where We Start, which she inspired.

He tells Britain's Mail On Sunday, "If I've done for her a quarter of what she's done for me, I'll be very happy."

The bash also marked the 20th anniversary of the couple getting together.

Na du weißt doch Text ist nicht David´s Sache, wenn ihm halt kein neuer Titel einfällt...

I took a heavenly ride through our silence
I knew the moment had arrived
For killing the past and coming back to life
